La Vita Land has preserved an important wetland and created a new one around the neighbourhood’s storm pond. Even as they provide opportunities for residents to reconnect with their natural heritage, they reflect La Vita’s commitment to protecting wetland habitat and sustaining the plants and wildlife that called The Willows home long before our arrival.

Designed for active play, Willow Park – the neighbourhood’s central gathering place – is open and inviting. Now complete, the park features plenty of open green space, benches, a basketball court, and state-of-the-art playground making this an outstanding addition to the community.

To create additional wetland habitat, Catkin Corner Pond in the neighbourhood’s northeast corner has been landscaped largely with vegetation transplanted from elsewhere within The Willows.
